So, we moved to Moonlight Falls. Mom was getting tired of Dad always calling to chat, and it was super awkward for her to be working with her ex-lover and his wife. And Benny and I starting there too just made it even worse. So, being the amazing role model she is, Mom decided to face her problems by running away. Or moving away.
We moved to Moonlight Falls because the theater here was able to offer Mom the same position and salary she had back in Riverview, so it worked out. Our house here is a lot smaller than the one we lived in for a few days back in Riverview, but it has enough room for mom, Uncle Al, Thad, and I. Along with rooms for our future kids.
The Lightstones now live in this house, by sims3time.

Since our new house is pretty tiny, Lucia and Debbie moved into their own house, and Benny and Evie moved into one as well. Lucia and Debbie also took Crookshanks and Hedwig, while Benny and Evie took Errol and Mr. Tibbles. It took a lot of convincing, but Thad and I were able to convince Mom to be okay with giving up ‘her babies.’ And anyway, hopefully there will be actual babies for her to take care of soon!

Cece and Thad’s room.

Cece and Thad’s bathroom. I couldn’t get any good pictures of it. So ugly overhead shot! :D

Kitchen and dining. With bonus bar because I wasn’t sure what else to put in the extra space.

Living room, with a ‘gaming’ corner. Just a large TV and two game consoles.

Downstairs bath. Two separate rooms so one person can shower while another uses the toilet.

Office. And bonus T.A.R.D.I.S. Err…I mean…L.L.A.M.A…

Lia and Alek’s room. Eventually, one of the beds will be sold and the grandparent’s will sleep here. But since Lia and Alek are brother and sister, they’re not sharing a bed.
And that’s the rooms. There’s another bathroom upstairs, but it has the same stuff as the downstairs bathroom. There’s also three bedrooms upstairs, but they’ll be decorated later, when I know genders of kids and stuff. There’s also a laundry room off the entrance, but it’s basic. A rug, a lamp, and a washer and dryer.

Garden and back porch.

After spending most of the day getting settled in, I was very excited to cook dinner. Not only was the kitchen super nice, but the house was amazing, I loved Moonlight Falls, and I was happily married. I honestly don’t think that anything could have made my first day in Moonlight Falls better.

I actually DID find something to make my first day in Moonlight Falls even better.

Since Mom, Thad, and I all had a few days off before starting work, we spent our first few days settling into life in Moonlight Falls. Thad was helping Uncle Al out in the garden, while Mom spent a lot of her time caring for the bees in the bee hive and the chickens in our chicken coop. I played my guitar a lot. I wanted to be able to impress my boss when I finally started work.

But, it would be a while until I worked again.

Thad and I both really wanted to be good parents, so we both read a few pregnancy books.

I went to the hospital a few times for medical advice and to get an ultrasound. I was pretty surprised when they told me that they could tell my baby’s gender; but of course I was all ears!

"Thad, honey? I went to the hospital today and I got an ultrasound."
"Is everything okay?" Thad asked, following me upstairs.
"Everything’s fine. They actually told me the gender. And so I decorated the nursery. Do you want to see?" I asked him, standing near the door of the nursery. Thad just smiled and nodded and followed me into the nursery.
"We’re having a boy?" Thad asked me, putting a hand on my stomach.
"I was thinking of naming him Darcy. What do you think?" I asked, putting my hand over his.
"I think Darcy is a perfect name," Thad agreed, a grin on his face.

It felt like no time had passed between the time that I found out I would having a son and the time that he actually came.

Thad and I had agreed on the name Darcy Fitzwilliam Lightstone for our son. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but we like it.
Darcy Fitzwilliam Lightstone
Evil, Genius
Violet, Frogs Legs, Indie

<3 I love Darcy. He is adorable.

Even though they’re not technically related, Uncle Al still treats Darce like they are. I think Mom and Uncle Al missed having kids around, even if they aren’t willing to admit it.
