"Well, here we are. Riverview," Amelia Lightstone stared up at the house in front of them, a cat in her hands and one in between her feet.

"It’s bigger than I was expecting," her twin brother, Aleksandar said, rubbing his forehead.

"Remember, mum always told us not to judge a book by it’s cover. She also told me the house looks bigger on the outside than it really is. It’s like a reverse T.A.R.D.I.S."

Alek just groaned in response. Lia bit back a smile, knowing her brother hated her constant nerdy references.

"Do you like Riverview, Heddy?" Lia asked Hedwig, rubbing her head. Hedwig purred, pushing up against Lia’s hand.

"I still can’t believe you brought your cats," Alek groaned, watching Crookshanks go lumbering off after something; probably a piece of garbage.

"Of course I brought them! I don’t trust anyone back home with my babies," Lia gave Hedwig a kiss on the head before fishing the key out of her pocket and unlocking the house, leaving the door open for Alek.

Lia hummed a random tune while filling the bowl for the cats. She glanced around at the stark white walls and plain flooring of their new home.

"Well, it could definitely use some paint," Alek slapped the wall as he walked in, leaning against the counter. "And new flooring," He laughed, glancing down at the floor.

"I was thinking of going down to the theatre and applying. It’s always been my dream to be a big star movie composer, and I want to try to actually achieve my dream."

"Okay. Hopefully you can start working so we can get some more money soon," Alek mussed Lia’s hair and went upstairs, probably to claim his room.

Lia took a big breath before walking into the theatre, hoping they were hiring.

She came out a few minutes later very happily employed in the Music career.

"Hello, sir…I just wanted to call and say thank you again for the job. I appreciate it…I’m looking forward to working tomorrow, sir…Yes, I do have a guitar. I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, since my brother and I just moved here, but I was going to play later tonight…Yes, sir…Thank you again," Lia called her boss, Yuri Ivanov, as soon as she got home from the theatre. She hoped she didn’t seem too eager; she couldn’t help but be excited over finally having a chance to achieve her lifetime wish.

"Lia? Dinner’s almost ready," Alek called from the kitchen, cutting up some of the veggies he’d bought at the local market.

"Cool. Be there soon. I’m just making my bed," Lia called from upstairs, coming noisily down the stairs a few minutes later. She almost tripped on the last step, landing a lot heavier than she meant to.

"Careful, sis. We can’t afford a hospital visit," Alek snapped.

"Sorry. You know I’m so clumsy. I can’t help it!" Lia apologized, taking a plate of autumn salad, "Now, where do we sit?" She asked, staring at the empty dining room.

"C’mon, I have an idea," Alek motioned for her to follow him.

"Really? The bathroom?" Lia snorted, following Alek into the upstairs bathrom.

"Really. Now, do you want the tub or the toilet?" Alek asked with a grin. Lia groaned, putting the toilet seat down before slowly sitting down on the toilet.

"I can’t believe I’m eating my dinner while sitting on a toilet," Lia groaned.

"Mum would be proud," Alek laughed, as the twins turned their attention hungrily to the salad.

Lia glared at the oven, blaming it for the burnt waffles.

"Breakfast’s done," she called up the stairs to her brother, "Blackened waffles."

"Oo, my favorite!" Alek laughed as he came running down the stairs to take a plate of waffles.

Lia hopped on her bike with a large grin on her face, excited for her first day of work. She was a little bit nervous to be around so many people that she didn’t know, but something told her that working in music would be a good thing for her.

photo TS3W2013-08-0609-53-48-50_zps27c2e0ae.jpg "Alek! Come down here! I have something to show you!!" Lia called excitedly a few nights later.

"What’s up sis?" Alek asked, running down the stairs. He stopped and stared at the table, slowly walking towards Lia, "What’s this?" He asked incredulously, his eyes humongous with surprise.

"I got a promotion today, so I stopped by the store and bought us a real table and chairs," Lia said with a grin, standing up and walking over to her twin.

"What? You got a promotion? That’s awesome! I hope you didn’t spend all of the money?"

"Of course not. I’m twelve anymore, Al," Lia stuck her tongue out at Alek and went upstairs.

"Of course you’re not," Alek said with a smile, admiring the table.

Before going to bed that night, Lia read a book that her boss had asked her to read. She couldn’t help but hope that reading the book would get her another promotion; there was still a lot of furniture that they needed for the house.
